Kingston Friends - I need some extra help regaining a permanent place to live and obtaining transportation. I am homeless and struggling badly. In rapid succession I lost my place to live and automobile. I am trying hard through legal aid and community outreach programs to regain my footing. The money is to help me secure a new apartment (security deposit) and obtain basic transportation to get around town. I have no transportation and its makes it impossible for me to work around town and across the County as I have been doing for the last 15 years as a handyman engaged in property management maintenance. I am open to renting a room, partially exchanging work for rent, legal assistance in my fight against an illegal eviction, and accepting even the worst hand-me -down car on the road as long as it can help me get about.
