UPDATE JUNE 2023 - My Everest Challenge

The team at The Ordinary Climbers in Polegate have kindly allowed me to do a sponsored climb on their climbing wall. I am going to climb their wall 1107 times in June 2023 for a total of 8849 meters (29035 feet) which is the equivalent of the height of Mt Everest. Any sponsorship for my climb will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is George, and I am 14. I am fundraising to go to the World Scout Jamboree. I am honoured to have been chosen as one of the 3000 scouts from across England to represent UK scouting in SaeManGeum, South Korea. I am part of Unit 58, the East Sussex Contingent.

I have always dreamt of travelling the world, and going to South Korea with 50,000 other scouts from around the world is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so any funds will be put towards going to the Jamboree. I will be there for 12 days, where we will be camping and taking part in many outdoor activities such as kayaking and rock climbing.

I am raising funds for the jamboree by making and selling paracord bracelets and keyrings at local events. Thank you to all those who have supported me at local craft fairs.
