Fire tragedy

Donation protected
The tragedy that struck us on March 17, 2024, can only be described as a devastating event. At 3:40 p.m., a fire broke out in our apartment due to a faulty electrical socket and extension cord. Thankfully, our daughter, who was home alone with our dog Rocky, managed to escape outside, where she was assisted by a neighbor, and together they called for help.

At that time, my partner, our son, and I were visiting my mother, while our daughter chose to stay home and watch television. Unfortunately, we lost all our possessions, money, valuables, documents, clothing, and everything else in the flames.

We are trying to reach out to the relevant authorities, such as the Leeds City Council, for assistance, but unfortunately, we have not received any support yet. We have been relying on our car with the children all day, and in the evenings, we are sent to available shelters where adequate assistance is not provided. We need food, but the food bank only provides us with ingredients for cooking, and we have nowhere to prepare it.

We would be grateful for any form of help you can provide us so that we can take care of ourselves. Thank you to everyone willing to support us in this difficult situation.
