Story
Sadly on 8/9/2024 our wonderful mum age 65 passed away after a short illness. She had developed pancreatic cancer at the end of april 2024,she had not long retired after working since she was 15 where she planned to have house renovations done and holidays abroad (she loved the sun) alongside her partner paul of 30 years who also recently retired. Sadly cancer had other ideas. Our mum was one in a million, nobody ever had a bad word to say about her, she had a heart of pure gold, she doted on her grandchildren Georgia 19 and Harry (pud) 4 also myself the eldest daughter and samantha the youngest. She had a very short stay at marie curie in penarth but her time there was so full of care, compassion and friendliness and also very comforting therefore we would like to raise some money to give this hospice as a thank you for the care and dedication shown throughout. Mum wanted a direct cremation with no fuss (her wishes) so the family would like to have a plaque made where people can go and visit when they like and have a chat (Dont forget the cuppa and ciggy)!
Thank you everyone for your kind words at this heartbreaking time never ever will our bright angel be forgotten. We love u xxx
