4x4x48 Charity Run for my mum

Hi all,

Some of you may already know, but my mum has been battling breast cancer for the past two years, which has been a real challenge for the family. She's undergone many treatments to aid in her recovery, which is still in an unknown state. The cancer was caused by a bad BRCA gene when it was discovered in 2020. Last year we were hopeful that the cancer was defeated, but unfortunately returned in the latter half of 2021.

This disease is cruel and heartbreaking, but millions of others like my mum are being diagnosed yearly and suffering from breast cancer, which is why I decided to raise money to aid in early diagnosis and better treatment. I have decided to run the David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge for my mum. For those who aren't familiar with this, the challenge is to run 4 miles once every 4 hours, over the span of 48 hours, totaling 48 miles. As it currently stands, I plan to run this starting at 8 pm on Friday the 20th of May, finishing the challenge after my 12th run at 4 pm on Sunday the 22nd of May.
