4x4x48 Run for Legendary Fitness!

Legendary Fitness WI isn't just a small business or functional fitness gym, it's a community of people overcoming obstacles together! The members are the most encouraging and inspirational people I've ever met, and I'm grateful to be a coach in such an amazing environment. There are people just wanting to get started with being active and having fun, athletes of all ages training for various sports (including American Ninja Warrior!), and others who have specific goals that utilize personal training to achieve them.
My name is Tony Medaglia, and I'm one of the coaches at LF (Legendary Fitness). I was a member before I started coaching here, and it has positively changed my life in so many ways! The two main sports that I focus on as an athlete are OCR's (obstacle course races) and Ninja Warrior competitions. As I coach, I focus on these sports but also have a passion for running efficiency and becoming as functionally fit as possible.
LF has been shut down due to COVID-19 indefinitely, and since we are a small business I don't want this to ruin the chance of this place to thrive in the future! The members inspire the coaches, and the coaches inspire the members, but best of all the owners Trevor and Sara are exceptionally hands on with everything the gym has to offer. Nothing would be possible without all of the endless hours they both spend behind the scenes, but they are also very active in the classes and events and everyone from the gym knows them by name and face!
In an effort to help support them through these tough times, I'll be completing a 4x4x48 running challenge that I've seen online from some of our OCR friends in the Chicago, IL area. I'm starting my first run at 11:00 am CST on Wednesday, May 13th and finishing up my last one at 7:00 am CST on Friday, May 15th. It consists of running 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. This will be the longest mileage I'll have completed in this short amount of time, but I'm not worried about that because doing this to support the LF is more than enough motivation to complete this challenge.
I would like to raise money to help out Trevor and Sara through this pandemic. I'll be donating $48 ($1/mile), and would love to see how money we can raise to help them overcome this challenge. Any donations are greatly appreciated, and I'll be updating my progress throughout the challenge!
