Ananda Center at Laurelwood is an Educational non-profit that is restoring its campus (1950's buildings that need complete regeneration). Our operation provides meaningful programs, retreats and conferences for those seeking to elevate consciousness and have a richer relationship to life. See below for some of the groups who benefit from this facility.
Today, the metal roof on our conference and office facility was severly damaged by an intense wind storm here in the Portland, OR area.
We need to restore the roof, and the funds we have are already committed to other projects.
The roof will require a complete tear-off and re-roof, as the cause of the failure is poor installation of the roofing material (before we took over the campus) and further damage is likely to follow.
This building is central to the operation of the retreat center and restoring it quickly is imperative.
