Steve has had a hard time of it in his business these past couple of years and needs a little assistance in obtaining his goals for 2016.
It is very difficult for a person in thier 60's to try and obtain sposorship in the sport of Ultra-Cycling. Their is no glamor in this sport like other big money sports out there so consequently I am soliciting help from others to try and make his goals come to a reality.

Steve expressed that he did not feel comfortable asking his friends for help and reached out to me to see if I knew anyone or business associates that would like to sponsor him. I asked around and I could not find anyone to sponsor Steve.

Therefore, I am going out on a whim to start a gofundme page to solicit anyone to help. Thank you very much for your consideration and support!

Steve's Objective/ 2016 Goals

Compete in 3 of the top ultra-cycling races, The Hoodoo 500 and the Silver State 508 as well as the 6/12/24 Hour World time trials in the 24 hour category.

His main cause:
Bringing awareness to the amazing House Clinic in Los Angeles. Here is a little bio on him and his relationship with this amazing organization:

In 1994 he was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma tumor on the left balance nerve.  This is a benign tumor but can cause complete loss of hearing and loss of balance on the side that is affected.  It was a fairly large one. He was referred to Doctor Derald Brackmann at The House Clinic by his ear doctor after the diagnosis.  He received fantastic care at the institute.  At the time, he did not know if his balance would be good enough to ride a bike again.  The surgery was very successful and he has been riding every year since with many ultra endurance events and a few 500 mile races under his belt.

He has been continuing since 2013 to bring awareness to The House Clinic and  to Neural Tumor Research.

 Financial needs:

Training Cost
Travel cost for events (fuel, rental van for support vehicle)
Accommodations at events
Entry fees
Equipment
Bike repair
GPS/radio etc. (for ultra-event/remote training,  tracking and communication with crew car)
