Help Pam Find Peace in Her Final Days
Donation protected
Pam has been fighting cancer for a little over six years. I am deaf and have a cochlear implant.
She had 23 hours of surgery to remove her larynx (laryngectomy) and tongue (glossectomy). This surgery was necessary to stop the cancer, which, unfortunately, has returned. At the time of the surgery, she knew this would be a life-changing event, but she conceded that it would save her life. She had no idea to what extent her life would change. Now, it's the 3rd round of cancer, and I had to put her in a hospice facility. I just bawled and told Pam this has to be done. I can't do this. I had a hard time those two days. It was so difficult. I was in bed, deaf, and then I woke up and saw Pam struggling. She was clogged in her neck, and she threw up three times. So they found a long-term facility for her. When they came to take her, I helped the guy with the stretcher, and as he drove away with Pam, I cried and knew she wasn't coming home.
Pam is bed-bound now. I never wanted to do this to fund myself, but I am seeking your financial help with the cremation, etc.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
I got my FMLA extended now, so I'm safe. I am out on vacation and sick days, so I'm using FMLA even though I don't get paid. This will allow me to be with Pam without losing my job.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
God bless you all!!
Thank you in advance!
