Hi Everyone , this July I will be running 10km solo through the Western Desert and into the Martu Youth Festival / Western Desert Carnival in Nullagine to support the amazing organisation, Ngurra Kujungka Inc.
Ngurra Kujungka Inc is the Western Desert’s first community driven regional sport and recreation organisation, delivering awarded programs to improve health, sport, recreation and employment outcomes for the people of the Western Desert.
I became aware of the NFP through my employment with Newcrest Mining Ltd and have worked closely with them this past year witnessing all the wonderful work they do for the Martu families. Having grown up in Port Hedland I have a love of the region and am also passionate about the local communities and hope to spread awareness and raise funds to help support Ngurra Kujungka Inc and their vision.

I would be incredibly thankful for any donation received. It will directly fund fresh vegetables, fruit and water for Martu children in the remote communities during their School Holiday program where they will also learn how to prepare their own meals.
