On Friday April 18th, Christy was involved in a life-altering accident. She was flown to a trauma center where she continues to receive care. She suffered multiple head bleeds, skull fractures, and other injuries. Christy is currently intubated, and while she has made small improvements over the past couple of days, she remains in critical condition and is in an intensive care unit. Christy is well known as a caring and loving individual, dedicating her life to working with and educating children. She is also a wonderful mother, "Mimi," and friend.
