Leo's Knee Surgery

Hi Everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to read more about my fur baby and why I am raising money for him. Even if you're unable to contribute, please share on your socials.
Just a few months ago I learned that Leo has a luxating patella which is a really fancy way of saying his kneecap pops out of place. The vet adjusted his left kneecap in August and he was fine for a couple of months and then in November his right kneecap fell out of place. Leo's vet referred him to a surgery specialist since there wasn't much else they could do for him at their clinic. We waited patiently since the soonest available appointment wasn't until mid December. After finally seeing the surgery specialist the news wasn't great.
Both of Leo's kneecaps are at a grade 3 luxation, the highest is grade 4. Once the kneecap reaches a grade 3 or higher and the leg becomes limp like Leo's right leg, surgery is recommended to surgically adjust the kneecap and reduce the possibility of it coming out of its place again. Luckily, Leo only needs surgery for one kneecap at the moment, but the surgery is still costly and I unfortunately, do not have the means at the moment to pay for it. The current shutdown has temporarily closed down my small business and my income has become limited.
The prediagnostic tests such as x-rays, bloodwork, etc. required prior to surgery cost just a little over $950 and the surgery itself costs $5,000-$6,000 depending on what the x-rays show. I am asking for $5,000 to help me cover the majority of the cost of the surgery. I am hoping to schedule Leo's surgery date as soon as possible and at the latest in January 2021.
I've had Leo since he was 3 months old and he's brought so much joy to my life. He loves to cuddle, naps most of the time, and he loves to play fetch. He enjoys walks in the park and loves people more than he loves dogs lol. When I'm sick or feeling down Leo likes to lay on me and nudges me with his wet nose. I love Leo and anyone who meets him knows he's the sweetest pup you'll ever meet.
Thank you again for reading more about my fur baby Leo and thank you in advance for those of you who will contribute and for those of you who are unable to contribute, I hope that you'll share this on your social medias and with friends and family.
