Help Rio access potentialy life saving treatment!

On Sunday 31st July 2022 (Jo, Charlotte and Chris) are taking part in Tough Mudder 10k Obstacle run to raise funds for Rio Spurr.

Rio was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer; ‘High risk’ Wilms tumour which has now spread to his lungs and we need you to join us and help raise as much money as we can to help support the Spurr family.

Charlotte & Jo went to school with Rio's dad Tom Spurr and the news about Rio's diagnosis is unimaginable. After listening to Tom and Chloe’s interview, no words will ever be enough. His courageous Mummy and Daddy have had to give up work to care for their tiny hero and his little brother, Rudy.

Our fundraising is not only to support the family keep their home and sanctuary, but, to pay for further treatment options for Rio. Rio’s parents recently heard the news no one should ever hear from their consultant… That they should embrace the fundraising, as any further treatment for Rio - would likely be beyond what is available within the UK.
