Missions Trip to Tanzania

Hello! My name is Peter Huckins. I’m a full-time student in my 3rd year at Hyles-Anderson College, studying Missions.

Last year, during our church’s annual Missions Conference, the Lord put in my heart that He wants me to be a missionary. Since then, I’ve been praying that I would have the opportunity to visit a new foreign mission field to grow my passion for missions and prepare me to serve as one! With a college schedule and a college budget, I’ve also specifically prayed that the Lord would provide the funds for me to do so. I believe that the Lord has placed this opportunity in my path for that reason!

We will be going to Tanzania, East Africa this August to help and learn from veteran missionaries Jerry and Rachel Wyatt. Each year, they host a huge event called a “Stadium Crusade”, in which they host crowds of several thousand people and preach the Gospel to them. We will be helping them organize and host this event, as well as working with several other ministries there. I’ve attached a link to their website; there, the Wyatts have several great videos, designed so you can see a little bit of the church and ministry for yourself. In order to cement my place in this group, I’m looking to raise as much as I can by the payment deadline in June!

I know that in financially low times, extra funds can be hard to come by. If you cannot give much, I understand! I only ask that you pray and ask the Lord if He would have you contribute to this great work. Any amount helps, even a small investment adds up over time. I would be so thankful for anything you can contribute, even if all you can do is pray!
