Help 5 African Leaders get to Japan

My name is Chris van der Merwe from South Africa. I have been involved in Action Sports ministry for the last 18 years with my main focus on skate ministry. I currently facilitate the African network for Action Sports Ministry. We form part of the Global Action Sports Ministry Network called ACTS.

The ACTS Global Summit is happening 5-9 March 2024 in

Yokohama, Japan. What better location than Japan, the world’s largest unreached action sports culture, and the host of the world’s first surf, skate, climbing at the summer Olympics in 2020.

Our dream and aim is to take a team of 5 African leaders to attend the Summit. Each leader is from a different region or has a different action sport ministry focus. This summit will equip, empower, validate and motivate these leaders from Africa to multiply themselves again locally.

God is raising up a new generation of creative missions with leaders that are combining their passions along with God’s purposes.

This is an incredible opportunity to hear stories of how God has been at work, connect with other leaders, develop relationships, and be encouraged to continue serving the Lord as He has called. There will be sessions facilitated by some of the most experienced, passionate and creative action sports ministry leaders around the world.
