5 Alarm Fire Keene NH
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My boyfriend Jason, my cat Sampson and I (Victoria) unexpectedly experienced our whole apartment building going up in flames Saturday January 8th at 11pm. 7 apartments, and 3 buisnesses are now gone. We all got out okay!
Confused by what was going on we didn't have a chance to grab anything. The building has been stated as a total loss from the chief of fire. We lost absolutely everything unexpectedly but we are very glad we are all okay and safe.
We now have to find a new apartment, and replace absolutely everything as we got out only with the clothes on our backs.
We don't expect anything and we MORE than appreciate ANY and ALL help. We are posting this here in case anyone wishes to help us rebuild our life as many have reached out. If other would like to donate clothing, boots, winter wear, towels, furniture or ANYTHING we will be taking donations once we find an apartment in the coming weeks and I will keep this post updated on needs if others are looking to donate in any possible way.
Jason my partner JUST went through this with his own house fire two years prior. And we were slowly helping him rebuild his life for it to only happen again, such a tragedy for EVERYONE involved.
We have a very hard time accepting help from others, but this experience has truly been such a beautiful sight to see humanity come together and help us in our time of need. I've always been the one to stop and help others and it's so nice to see strangers band together to help someone when they really need it. Very unexpected and seen scarcely now a days, it has completely warmed my heart and helped me see the kindness humanity can give as we all know we would need it if it were us in that situation.
Jason, Sampson and I cannot thank everyone enough for reaching out to make sure we are safe and for offering help in any way. Thank you for your kindness
