5 DUMPED PUPS NEED OUR HELP - Brighton, Ontario

Hi, my name is Shelley Hatton - anyone who knows me, knows I am a total animal lover. I’m devastated by the news of the 6 female pups (mini poodles) who were dumped in Brighton, Ontario around 10 pm on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024. One of the pups was found deceased on Hwy. 2 unfortunately and the other 5 were found by wonderful residents who took them into their home for the night. This is one of the three pups who are now being looked after by Ashley of K9 FIT/Determined by Diesel in Brighton and the other two have gone to Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward in Belleville. Their age is around 6-8 yrs. Each one of them have horrific teeth from not being looked after and the wrong food and the 3 will need dental surgery. All 5 of them need to have dental surgery and this will be done at Presqu’ile Animal Hospital, Brighton.

I decided I would like to set up a GoFundMe page to ask for your help to help pay for these surgeries.

UPDATE May 28 - one of the pups has a fractured pelvis and another one has a mammoth tumour and both will need surgery. So we have increased the amount that we would love to ask for to help pay for these very necessary surgeries.
