50 Miles for Parkinson’s – Walking for My Dad

On March 29th, I’ll be walking 50 miles—20 laps around the Wrightsville Beach Loop in 24 hours—to raise money for the Parkinson’s Foundation. This will be my third time taking on this challenge, and to date, my dad and I have raised over $15,000 for Parkinson’s research, support, and awareness.

My dad was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s in 2011. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges this disease brings—not just for him, but for everyone who loves him. But I’ve also seen his resilience, his humor, and his determination to keep moving forward. So, I walk. I walk to honor his fight, to support the millions of others living with Parkinson’s, and to help fund the research that will one day lead to a cure.

If you feel led to support, every donation—big or small—makes a difference. And if you’re in the area, come walk a lap with me! Your encouragement and support mean the world.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s keep moving forward together!
