50 Miles& 50 Reasons to Race 4 Dr.C

Dr. Gualberto Cremades was a husband, father, brother, friend, professor, mentor, sport psychology professional and so much more to everyone who was fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
To me, Dr. C was someone who I admire(d) greatly. I feel profoundly grateful to have recieved my degree from the program he created. It was during my graduate education at Barry University where I honed my passion and got my head on straight. Dr. C's impressive span of work includes many publications, being a distinguished AASP fellow, and a career that helped to shape the field of Sports Psychology.
Dr. C had been battling a brain tumor, Oligodendrogliomo (Oligo) for over 13 years before he passed away, almost a year to date. Today, on what would have been Dr. C's 50th day of birth, I would like to share that I will be running 50 miles to raise awareness & money for Oligo and to honor Dr. C and everything that he stood for as I knew him as a graduate student.
The 50 mile Ultra Marathon will be in Steamboat Springs, Colorado as part of the Run Rabbit Run Ultra Septemeber 9th, 2017.
From now until the race I will be posting on my social media to raise awareness and $500, all of which will be donated to Oligo Nation, Inc www.oligonation.com
