505 Main St Canton Continued Community Aid

505 Main St in Canton has provided essential and life saving services to countless residents in Haywood county since 2021. These services include and are not limited to:

Food and delivery to house bound individuals and pantries across Western NC

Providing education and resources for community growth

Harm reduction essentials

Special holiday events that provide community members with school supplies, spring baskets, holiday gifts and more.

The physical location also serves as a “free store”, housing clothing, food and housewares for anyone who has a need, including but not limited to low income, housing insecure and food insecure neighbors in our community (by appointment )

Due to recent devastation created by Hurricane Helene, we are actively at the 505 main location as a home base for emergency relief

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to continue these efforts, feeding and providing resources to those cut off by Helene, pay rent for the main depot building, pay for necessary expenses like utilities, water, insurance, and to help fund moving food & resources to our community to help our neighbors thrive.

505 Main Street are grateful to be a part of this Community. Monies raised will cover expenses to continue moving food and supplies.

Some of the operating cost:

Building expenses : $3600

Truck rentals for upcoming donation pickup and outreach: $2050

Fleet expenses that include fuel $1200

Supplies for the greater community

We would like to raise $7000+. We will raise the amount w each met goal.

First goal : Fleet expenses and resources needed during this immediate emergency $1200

Second : truck rental for donation pickup and delivery $2050

Third : building insurance and location expenses $3600 (mo sponsorships available).
