Reclaim Pride Mutual Aid Fund for Community
This is the official fundraiser for the Reclaim Pride Queer Liberation March our goals is to move money to low income trans and queer people specifically meeting the needs of folks in our community. This money will center black trans women and projects that are led by black trans women and trans and gender non conforming (TGNC) people of color (POC). This money will go to mutual aid organizations as well as immediate support to folks as we can provide.
We suggest you donate to the Black Trans Travel Fund, Black Trans Media, and the Okra Project. When you share and donate list other organizations inline with Reclaim Pride who we can donate to. We also encourage you to donate online to any GoFundMe for black trans women to support the immediate need of our folks.
We will prioritize our queer and trans community who are in shelters, returning from prison and jail, undocumented, those who need access to medicine and food, and have immediate housing, transportation, and economic needs. Funds to be dispersed by August 1st.
For transparency the funds will be managed by Alliance for Global Justice the fiscal sponsor of Black Trans Media. For more information about Reclaim Pride: https://reclaimpridenyc.org/
