42km Walk for Bali Baby Home

Hi, I’m Chloe – the founder of Positive Piccolos, where I run music classes for babies and toddlers in the UK.

This June, I’m taking on a 42km walk through the Lake District to raise £300 for Bali Baby Home.

Later that month, I’ll be travelling to Bali to volunteer, spending time and sharing music with children in an orphanage who don’t usually have access to the kind of creative experiences we often take for granted. Music can do so much more than entertain – it builds confidence, supports development, and brings joy where it’s needed most.

Your donation will go directly towards supporting the children while I’m there – whether that’s helping buy milk, nappies, clothes, toys, or taking them on a special day out. Every penny raised will go to the children, not towards my travel or personal costs.

About the Home

Bali Baby House is a non-profit organisation dedicated to caring for babies who have been abandoned or are at risk. In 2017 alone, Indonesia recorded 178 cases of babies being discarded. Heartbreaking statistics like this led a Balinese citizen, Burhan, to found Bali Baby House – a foundation providing a safe, loving home for babies born to KTD (unwanted pregnancies).

Burhan’s greatest hope is that these babies will one day be reunited with their biological mothers and grow up surrounded by the love they deserve.

If you’ve ever seen the magic of a child’s face light up during a song, you’ll understand just how powerful music can be. I’m so excited to sing and play for the little ones in Bali.
