50rpm Community Music Group Fundraiser

Hi. 50rpm is a community run music club based in the town of Coatbridge, Scotland, bringing and promoting live music in our area. 50rpm is run on a not-for-proft basis by its members.

50rpm is set up a bit differently in that it has 50 members who pay an annual membership and in return get entry to the gigs 50rpm put on. Tickets are also made available to the public so they can also attend the shows.

At 50rpm we love music. We love gigs. We set up 50rpm to be able to support touring musicians and to bring live music to an area which is often overlooked by the arts. We receive no external funding or grant.

We like to think we do things rights. We have a great sound system. We have a no talking policy when the acts are performing. We pay act properly and look after them when they play for us. We work closely with, and support, local charites and community groups to help them raise funds. We hold music classes for adults with learning difficulties (currently suspended due to lack of resources).

We are holding a fundraising show on the 6th June 2025 at The Georgian Hotel, Coatbridge to help his raise some funds to be able to update some of our equipment and to be able to repair other equpment we have. Those who are unable to attend had said they would still like to be able to support us, so this Go Fund Me page is intended for those who wish to support us to be able to make a small donation.
