Fight against Domestic Violence
Donation protected
Did you know that in most states including Maryland, nothing is donated towards Domestic Violence victims until their death? Homicide is ranked among the highest in domestic violence situations among same sex couples, transgender and married couple around the world? Men suffer domestic violence attacks from their wife and/or girlfriend every 14.6 seconds but fail to report it! One in three victims of family violence is male. Children exposed to family violence are more likely to repeat it in their adult years.
What can we do to stop this? How do we say no more?
This is year the 2nd Annual 50 Shades of Blue will once again honor survivors of this silent epidemic. We are also going one step further and brining in those who may be still going thru it. We will also honor those who are dealing with abuse, cancer, diabetes, lupus heart disease, abuse, addiction, Chron's disease, fibromyalgia, lymphoma, endometriosis, heart disease and more! This event will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Enoch Pratt Library, 400 E 33rd St, Baltimore, Maryland and we need your support!
ALL proceeds will go to benefit The House Of Ruth, Baltimore Chapter! They are very excited about this event and hope you are as well!
Sponsorships, donations and gift bag opportunities are available as well. Contact Lady Blue, founder of Joy Does Come in the Morning & 50 Shades of Blue at ladyblue1.com for further information
