Hey everyone! So this is our son Joshua Jacob (JJ) Gonzalez. He was born with a rare genetic disorder by the name of myotubular myopathy. This disease is a terminal illness with no current therapy to help treat this condition. There is, however, some very exciting news regarding a new experimental drug by the name of gene replacement therapy that is giving us hope. This amazing news may be found here: http://www.nasdaq.com/press-release/audentes-announces-positive-interim-data-from-first-dose-cohort-of-aspiro-a-phase-12-clinical-tria-20180104-00220. The reason we are asking for help is due to a recent shortage of nursing help. Our son Joshua is under 24/7/365 care. Our current nursing agency has recently been struggling to provide us with the appropriate nursing care causing me to miss MANY days of work. We have already exhausted our savings and want to do everything we can for him, but we are running out of options as far as finances are concerned. We would greatly appreciate your help with either donating or sharing this page. We want to provide him with the best chance of survival while we wait for the possible CURE of this disease. So your money will be going towards literally helping save his life.
