"Big Dave" Lodwig was the kind of person who loved to laugh and poke fun at those he loved the most. If you knew him, then you know his unmistakable laugh. Dave could find humor in any situation, even those that seemed dire. Sometimes his humor made others uncomfortable, but his intention was to lighten the moment. His smile alone could light up a room.

When he was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2021, he met this challenge in typical "Dave" fashion. He kept smiling, making jokes (some not always appropriate), and was determined to beat it.

Dave fought valiantly but ultimately lost his battle with cancer on May 24, 2022, leaving behind four beautiful children. Dave loved his family above all things. His most incredible legacy is his children, who each embody Dave's spirit in their own way. Please join me in supporting his children's 529 college fund by donating to this fundraiser.
