"I Like Sitting With You" Short Film

Hi all!

I am fundraising for my upcoming short film called “I Like Sitting With You.” This coming-of-age story focuses on Sean, a neurodiverse cisgender young man, and Kendra, a confident transgender woman, on their fifth date in a park, yet they have never kissed before. Kendra wants Sean to give her a kiss, yet his limited dating experience makes him freeze.

As someone who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in my early twenties, it was helpful to learn why I struggled connecting with people. When I started exploring romantic relationships, it was nerve-wracking yet exciting. This story is based upon my experience of learning to trust my intuition, and how it opens the door for meaningful relationships.
