Help a family with housing

Donation protected
Hello,
A family came to my school on Friday and are houseless. They have been borrowing a guy's van to sleep in at night when he is sleeping, but he has let them know that he will not be home at times and they cannot rely on that option. They arrived in the U.S. from Ecuador this month after a harrowing and traumatizing journey, in which they lost all of their savings. As immigrants with children, they can only qualify for shelter space through Mary's Place, and they have been on the waitlist there for 21 days. When I called today, Mary's Place said that there are currently around 60 families on the wait list and they have to prioritize families with infants or children with severe medical needs. It's unlikely they will gain access to a shelter anytime soon. I called all the agencies recommended by 211 for motel vouchers as well, and they are all full. They have two beautiful boys, aged 6 and 10. Mom is a former nurse and worked 16 hours per day through the COVID pandemic in Ecuador. She valued their education so much that she would work with them at 10:30 pm to do their schoolwork because it was the only way she could be sure they continued learning. If you could donate some money to help them stay at a hotel in the meantime, they can get themselves settled enough to find work and eventually rent their own apartment. If you have leads on other options for them to pursue short term or long term housing, please let me know.
