Michelle’s Emergency Surgery
Friends, family and our fellow restaurant Industry. Please help Michelle!
Michelle was rushed to the ER at Piedmont hospital on Friday night October 1st with severe abdominal pain. After having an ultra sound, CT scan and X-rays she underwent emergency surgery and had to have part of her intestine removed. After the surgeons first attempt of keyhole surgery was unsuccessful they then had to do a full open surgery. Michelle is lucky not to be left with a colonoscopy bag. Michelle spent 4 nights at Piedmont hospital and is now recovering at home. Unfortunately like many other restaurant workers she has no insurance and is facing staggering bills that have already exceeded $27,000. Michelle moved to Atlanta 5 years ago from Ireland and has since worked in many popular restaurants in the Midtown area. She really needs our help and support to recover from this unexpected incident. Please donate whatever you can to help Michelle.
