Healing Help for Sheila

Hi, my name is Rhonda White and I am raising funds on behalf of my sister, Sheila Wilkerson, along with the help of my niece Amber Wilkerson. She will recieve funds on behalf of her mother while Sheila is in the hospital.

On the afternoon of December 7th, my sister Sheila was involved in a terrible accident. A man crossed the center line and they had a head on collision. Unfortunately the other driver passed away at the scene. Sheila was air cared to the University of Iowa hospital where she was a admitted to the ER, and then to the 3RCE which is the adult surgical unit. She was found to have several broken bones, which included her right leg, foot, knee, right wrist, left ankle and 2 broken ribs. She was wearing her seatbelt which we believe is what saved her life but could not prevent the damage that has been done. She is in extreme pain. She went through an almost 6 hour surgery on December 8th to try to repair the breaks to her right leg. They are currently letting her swelling go down before they attempt a 2nd surgery & work on her knee and foot, Her daughter Amber & son Austin have been taking turns going up to be with her as the hospital restrictions allow only 1. They also need prayers and any help with their expenses traveling back and forth to the hospital. Sheila has an extremely long road ahead of her of recovery and rehabilitation therapy. We are hoping to raise funds to help her get through the coming months of healing without the stress & worry about how to pay her way through it while recovering. We all know this time of year is tough for everyone being right at Christmas but any amount will help in her time of need. Please consider making a donation of any amount.
