Luna’s Emergency Amputation

Luna has been a very loved member of our family for the past six years. Recently she went missing for two weeks and came back injured. We assume she was attacked by another animal, as she had a severely broken tail. It was de gloved and is infected. Currently her flesh and bone are exposed and she is in need of a tail amputation. So far, Luna has received antibiotics, bloodwork, and her tail has been disinfected and bandaged as of yesterday 11-30-23. We are scheduling the surgery for after the weekend so she has time to recover from anemia. The tail amputation is imperative, as the infection can spread to the bone. Her bills have been expensive- I have used my savings on her visits and it’s looking as though I won’t be able to afford the surgery at the moment. Any and all contributions towards Luna’s operation are extremely appreciated!
