Dreams of studying in Africa
Donation protected
Nearly half my life has been spent facing some type of health crises. Not one of my medical issues is related to another; I have pretty much spanned the anatomical spectrum for illnesses. I have met each health issue head-on, considering each a life-changing challenge. I chose to study abroad to experience a life-changing challenge which I can fully control. It is my desire to someday work in the employ of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and I anticipate the study abroad program opening my eyes to new and different cultures. I anticipate enrolling in non-general education courses in order to enhance and increase my knowledge in my field of study. I believe and hope that my studies in Ghana will have a significant impact on securing future employment with the CDC. It is my wish to study courses not offered at my current university in order to broaden my intellectual horizon; I believe you can never learn too much. Having all of my medical problems have really put me in a financial situation. I would love to go abroad and forget about being sick and not have to worry about the burden of money.
