Morgen’s Closet

Hi, my name is Janice Calvin-Stringer, and I was the great aunt of Morgen Alexander Moore. Morgen died tragically in a house fire on February 3rd, 2023. Morgan was an intelligent, energetic 5-year-old who loved and was deeply loved. The mission of Morgen’s Closet is to provide school supplies to students between the ages of 3-5 and their teachers. Although Morgen was a student of Gardner School when he passed, Morgen’s Closet will provide school supplies to students and teachers in his age group throughout the Hot Springs School System. We believe no child should go without because their parents can't afford their school supplies, and no teacher should have to pay out of their pocket to teach future Morgen’s. We want to continue to honor Morgen’s memory and his legacy by creating Morgen’s Closet. We hope to refill Morgen’s Closet until he would have graduated high school.
