Hello! Avery has decided that for her 4-H project this year she wanted to give back to her community and organize a community service project. During our annual Memorial Day cemetery tour to remember our loved ones lost, Avery noticed that there were several graves that didn’t have any flowers on them. She asked me if she could collect enough silk flowers to place on every grave in the Mokane cemetery. So that is our goal: to make sure every grave in Mokane has flowers in them, and that everyone gets remembered and never forgotten.
For her birthday, I am organizing a fundraiser to help offset the costs of this project. We will need funds to purchase silk flowers, flags for gravesites of veterans, and chemicals to aid in cleaning off headstones. Any little bit donated will help. Thank you for your consideration!
