We love Amy!

Amy Whitlock-Burton is a friend to everyone she meets. She always has that smile on her face that is contagious. She is a hard working wife, mom, and teacher! She has been a teacher for 19 years and presently teaches special education in middle school. Her husband John, manages Valley Collision and they have one son, Drew who is in the first grade (and is precious, BTW!). Amy started having some issues with what she believed was gallstones around the first of September 2023. She went to the ER and had a scan which revealed multiple liver lesions, which were eventually confirmed to be metastatic disease. She has spent the last few weeks working hard to get a diagnosis. Her present diagnosis is High-Grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (Grade 4) with liver metastisis. She is presently in treatment at UAB and has an appointment to be evaluated at MD Anderson. This family is so special to so many. We created this page to offset some of the costs of her medical treatment, travel, and living expenses.
