Kicking Cancer #werunformatty

Werunformatty was created for our brother, husband, son and friend, Matt Bennett. Initially the fundraising we did was to help Matt and his wife Megan get through financially whilst Matt was undergoing treatment for stage 4 testicular cancer that Matt was diagnosed with in 2017. Matthew unfortunately lost his battle with this horrific disease on the 9th of September 2018.

As devastating as this has been to live through we realise there are people still fighting this disgusting disease known as cancer. We have wanted to keep the page running and try to fundraise for cancer research. We have decided that we will donate any funds made to the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne. If we can help to fund just one day of research, then we are one day closer to finding a cure.

Matt’s legacy will always live on as long as people never forget what he went through and want to help. The many other people fighting cancer and yet to be diagnosed people will be the ones who hopefully will have the cure in their lifetime. We want to once and for all #kickcancerintheballs.
