Please help a lovely couple!

Most people in West Yorkshire will remember the touching story of Michelle and Darren who got married at Pinderfields hospital.

The couple have had an emotional rollercoaster since Michelle found out she had a brain tumour. Sadly her operation had complications which has led to her having a spinal injury and Darren being a full time dad to their children.

After spending almost 2 years in hospital, Michelle is hoping to be home for her first wedding anniversary this June.

Their house is undergoing some adaptations to support Michelle's change in mobility.

But here is where I'm hoping we can pull together to help this amazing couple. The changes to their house means it all needs redecorating. Whilst they both did not want to ask for any help, they can not do this alone.

Darren is an avid Leeds football fan and being a Leeds girl myself, I know the community spirit we have and what we can achieve!

Life has thrown some real curve balls at this lovely couple but I'm hoping we can pull together to help get their home beautiful so Michelle can come home and start the next chapter of their life together.
