Helping a family

It pains me to write this but it’s a necessity. Our amazing friend (and resident wise-ass) Mike Mcgovern and his beautiful family need all the help they can get. Mike was  diagnosed with GIST a few years ago. GIST is a Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), a rare cancer affecting the digestive tract. This cancer is so rare that he is the 6th person ever to be treated at Sloan Kettering Hospital as it’s normally a pediatric type of cancer.  With Mike being out of work, the mounting medical costs are too much for one person to handle. He is currently home on hospice care. 

Mike and his “rock” Erica have three beautiful children...Tommy who is currently attending Buffalo University, Mikey who is a sophomore at Clarkstown North High School, and Danny who is starting his first year in pre-school. We are raising money to help with the financial burden that has been thrust upon this family.  They are a family that would give anything to anyone who needed it. We are asking for ANY amount of a donation while we continue to pray for Mike, Erica and his family. We thank you and ask you to pray for them as well.
