Help Denise beat Cancer!

My name is Melissa and I am asking on behave of my sister for your love , prayers and support to fight breast cancer! My sister Denise was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 48. She had a mastectomy at that time and was told they had removed all the cancer and that she would just need a shot every month. she was told it was non aggressive and routine mammograms and ultrasound were all she would need. Her follow up last year at age 51 revealed that her cancer had returned. She then learned the cancer center near her home filed bankruptcy and she would need to travel to miami a three hour trip one way to meet with another oncologist. After weeks of testing she was told her original diagnosis was incorrect and she has an aggressive cancer and needed to have surgery and radiation and chemotherapy. She had the surgery and then two weeks later was told they did not get it all and she had to have another surgery. She met with her oncologist this week and was told she needed to have 5 1/2 weeks of radiation everyday for 30 minutes. then chemotherapy when that is completed. She was devastated. How would she do this, she is six hours drive time and she would have to take a leave from work. Her doctor suggested she stay in miami. That is a huge hurdle to figure out. She informed her employer and they understand her treatment needs but then informed her the insurance company dropped them at the end of the month.

So as she goes into her first radiation today her heart is troubled. She has faith God will take care of her and her needs but is having a hard time understanding how it will happen.

I ask you to please find it in your heart to help her fight this disease. She has maxed out her financial support and is struggling to know how she will provide her basic needs. Her husband is by her side and too has to take a leave to help take care of her.

Cancer is expensive, it is crushing, it is exhausting and crippling. But our God will surround her with his angels, he will go to battle for her. Please go to battle with us and help support my best friend , my amazing sister. Pray for her, lift her up, give your love, give what you can to help ease her broken body and mind.
