Needing help to get through a traumatic event

I'm raising money for me and my fiance. We are both experiencing the hardest time of our life, my fiance especially. She has had to endure serious trauma and psychological abuse from her previous partner and has suffered from PTSD, extreme anxiety and serious depression as a result.

 

She has been on the antidepressant effexor for many months and despite her expressing to her doctor that she did not like the way that it was making her feel and that she wanted to come off of it, he kept increasing her dosage. Recently, he increased the dosage to the maximum amount. My fiance started having an increase of self-harm thoughts. She made an appointment to get a gene-sight test done so that she could get on a medication that would work for her but it was unfortunately too late.

 

She had a mental breakdown/blackout episode while I was at work. She left the house in a blind panic and rear ended another vehicle. She tried to flee and committed self harm while being chased and subdued. She doesn't remember anything from this traumatic event and has unfortunately had to learn of her actions through the experiences of others.

 

She is now in a psychiatric facility and is being charged with a number of criminal offenses. We are working on getting a lawyer to get in front of the charges and to possibly pursue a case against her doctor for continuing her medication despite her concerns.

 

Obviously this whole situation removes a source of income from our household, so we are going to need help with lawyer expenses, bills and potential fines. Anything during this time will help, thank you to anyone who is able to help, even just through verbal support. My fiance is the most important person in the world to me and she is a wonderful human being who didn't deserve any of this to happen to her.
