Help Family of Firefighters after the Eaton Fire - Puga

My name is Ally Puga and I am raising money for my family.

We are saddened to announce that our Puga family: Jerry Puga, Kelly Puga, AJ Puga, Ally Puga, and Sam Smiley, lost our home to the Eaton fire Wednesday, 1/8/25, in Los Angeles. We didn’t have time to pack up belongings as the fire spread so quickly in the middle of the night. Our family was able to grab their pets and fled as we assisted neighbors in escaping the fire.

Our Puga family has given back to the Los Angeles community in so many ways. Three members of the family: Jerry, AJ, and Sam are all part of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). Jerry has been a firefighter for the last 20 years and AJ and Sam recently joined LAFD. Ally (me) is a speech pathologist working with children in need at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and Kelly has worked for LACERA, a retirement agency in Pasadena for the past 25 years.

Our family continues to go back to the Altadena area daily to help mitigate the spread of the fire in the hopes of saving our neighbors’ homes, animals, and belongings. Our Puga family has dedicated our lives in supporting our community, and now we need your support. If you can spare to donate any monetary funds to help us in this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated. Every donation counts and will go directly to my family to assist in future temporary endeavors.
