O'Brien House Fire Fund
Donation protected
On the afternoon of Christmas Eve 2020, while Andy and Celia O’ Brien were out doing last minute shopping, a fire broke out within their family home in Gurth, Hollyford. Thankfully two family members were present and were able to escape and raise the alarm. Unfortunately, the fire did cause major structural damage to the rear of the house and the loss of family possessions.
The O’Brien family are well known and respected around our locality and we think it is only fitting that, in their time of need, the community should lend a helping hand too.
Regretfully at this time, due to Covid 19 restrictions, it is not possible to organise a fundraising event. Hence for now, Hollyford Community Council and Sean Treacy’s GAA Club, are jointly organising this “GoFundMe” page to assist the O’Brien family with the repair and refurbishment of their house.
Our group is appealing for any financial contribution that you can offer towards our fund. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Yours Sincerely,
Committee: John Carey, Kevin Browne, Mary Fahey, Pat Stapleton Jr, Niall Butler.
