MY BEAUTIFUL BOY CARLOS (CEEJAY)

Mother, sister and family lost a treasure on Dec 2, 2020. Our lovely and caring Carlos (Ceejay) succumbed to a quiet, insidious disease: Clinical depression. Carlos suffered valiantly from the ravages of this physically transparent illness since early adolescence. [Depression is typically incurable and as deadly as cancer or heart disease. It is a disease of the mind and one’s mental outlook, it’s life threatening in so many ways.]
Despite that depression, Carlos was funny, and hospitable, a lover of music , someone always willing to pick up the pieces for another’s broken heart, his seemingly irreparable. He was a song writer [often wrote songs, recorded them, and for someone who barely spoke it always felt like he really, actually had a lot to say.]
Very few people knew Ceejay, very lowkey, loved to dance, to be a goofball and make people laugh. But he most importantly will be remembered for his humility and love, for being such a bright mind and unmatched soul.
Carlos may have hurt himself trying to fill voids but he preferred to mask his pain or escape into video games and music, than show and make others know or feel his pain, his voids or his anxiety. He too often tried to numb himself from the emotional distress/pain he carried within.
Carlos is so deeply loved by anyone who got to know the real him, by anyone who actually go to see him smile.
His mother and family would appreciate any monetary help to put towards a proper send off and want thank you in advance to anyone willing, peace love and light to all.
