Helping Our Friend Debbie
Donation protected
I’m starting a Go Fund Me page, not for myself, but for my friend Debbie Fisher. I’ve always believed the saying “People come in to our lives for a reason, as season or a lifetime.” I believe that I was put in Debbie’s life for BOTH a Reason and a Lifetime.
I initially came to know Debbie through Facebook and our common love for our Cavachon Puppies, Star and Sammie. Debbie and I began connecting more on a personal level and discovered that we both possess a love for photography and flowers, and photographing flowers. Our mutual interests soon had us connecting outside of social media and that is when I learned of Debbie’s story.
Debbie has had numerous surgeries (more than 20) in her lifetime, including kidney failure that had her receiving dialysis treatments which eventually led to not one, but TWO kidney transplants. Debbie has neck and back issues and she also has difficulty standing for extended periods of time. At times Debbie is unable to hold her own neck up for an extended period of time. Performing what we consider normal every day activities like taking a shower and getting dressed for the day can be difficult for Debbie and will exhaust all of her energy. Sadly, not too long ago, Debbie learned that she may be rejecting her second kidney and her neck and back difficulties have her in constant pain.
With all of that said, if you had the chance to read Debbie’s comments and support for others, you would never know that Debbie is going through such a difficult time. Debbie always has kind, supportive and uplifting words for others, ALWAYS!
Debbie is a very special lady. As I’ve gotten to know Debbie, I feel compelled to help Debbie which has me asking you to help as well. Due to Debbie’s neck and back issues she uses a wheel chair. Debbie is not able to maneuver the chair herself and she requires assistance. As you can imagine with the numerous surgeries, including the TWO kidney transplants, Debbie’s medical bills added up over the years and she is not able to afford a motorized wheelchair. Having a motorized wheelchair would help Debbie tremendously when she is by herself.
I would like to ask you to consider making a small donation to my friend Debbie. While I have set a low goal in the hopes of raising enough money for Debbie to purchase a motorized wheel chair, I am hoping to exceed this goal. As I stated, Debbie’s medical bills were extensive and from our conversations I am sure any additional funds would assist Debbie with every day expenses as well.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you in advance for any donation you may be able to make.
