Gledholt Male Voice Choir

Gledholt Male Voice Choir Huddersfield was established 75 years ago, singing a wide and diverse repertoire of traditional Male Voice Choir music, songs from the shows, musical theatre, opera plus professional and bespoke arrangements of popular songs.

We perform concerts in the Huddersfield area, as well as various tours within the UK and abroad.

We also perform in local care and nursing homes to entertain the residents, as well as on-street busking and in local businesses to raise funds. In the lead up to Christmas we have a busy programme of carol-singing in pubs and restaurants and the now-famous Carol Train from Huddersfield to Silkstone Common.

One of our stated aims is to build on our successes and enhance the enjoyment of music in the community. We hope to recruit and develop new singers, whether they be experienced musicians looking for a new direction, or people wanting to find their voice. The health and wellbeing benefits of belonging to a choir cannot be understated, and you'll be sharing a love and passion for music with a friendly and welcoming group of people.
