Tianna Needs Your Help

My name is Tianna Samuels and in 2019 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Crohn's disease, where my small and large intestines are inflamed and as a result I no longer absorb nutrients and water from my food well. I was first admitted to the hospital for a week, then in October 2019 my condition got so bad I was admitted for a month. As a result of this illness I experience daily pain in my abdomen, I have a severely restricted diet because many foods irritate my bowels and I use the bathroom up to 6 times a day. My second admission to the hospital amassed bills for accommodation and tests equating to over $500,000.00 JMD. Now my family savings is depleted and I cannot afford the medication I need to take to recover. At 20 years old now, I used to be 125 pounds, then 90, and now I am at 82 pounds.Living with pain and the frustration of my illness has left me not only physically fatigued, but also depressed as well and battling suicidal thoughts.

I need this money in order to get my blood tests done and start my treatment, which my gastroenterologist emphasizes can be very costly. I know I cannot fund this alone, and I just want to start living life instead of trying to survive it.
