Help the Adams family with medical expenses

We, New Beginnings Community Church, are fundraising to support the Adams family with medical and vehicle expenses.

Cadence and Asher Adams, two awesome boys in our church family, both have a rare genetic terminal illness called Hunter Syndrome, also known as MPS2. Boys affected usually only live to their mid-teenage years, they lose their ability to talk, walk, and recognize their loved ones. There are endless doctors’ appointments and procedures needed to maintain quality of life.

Every month, Lori (the boys mom) drives them to North Carolina for a clinical trial drug dosing for the boys’ cognitive issues. This means a lot of time on the road, a lot of wear on their vehicle, travel expenses and hotel stays.

Lori has also been dealing with some of her own health issues resulting in several hospital stays and doctors visits, adding to their financial stress.

With all of the emotional stress medical issues can bring, we want to help alleviate some financial stress and help support this family who is such a vibrant, loving and active part of our church family.
