Medical and travel expenses For My Dad Eric

Hi my dad Eric is one of the most kind and hardworking guys out there. Back in the fall of this year my dad started losing so much weight and was in so much pain and exhaustion but still went to work as a mason everyday to provide for me and our family. Thinking it was his Rheumatoid Arthritis that he was diagnosed with in March of 2020 and several Emergency Room visits later they discovered numerous nodules on his lungs and Lymphadenopathy. Since October he has went for Bone Marrow Biopsies, lymph Node biopsies and removal of lymph nodes under his arm pit. His local Oncologist believed it was related to his RA. Due to poor care from area Rheumatologists he located an amazing one in New York City in March. Unfortunately his new doctor is not agreeing with the oncologist in Orlando and my dad is now heading back to New York City to see a multiple myeloma oncologist specialist who reviewed his work up and has concerns. My dad at the same time of becoming sick, lost his job of 6 years due to closure of the company. His unemployment has run out last month. We had to move out of our home and move in with my nana and papa due to Florida’s price of living being so high and difficult on one social workers salary. He has been DoorDash delivering to help but with all the medical costs and now traveling to NYC for proper care my parents can use all the help they can get. He also needs a hip replacement once he’s cleared medically due to necrosis caused by whatever is making him sick. My parents are very proud people and hate to ask for help . I just want them to not have additional stress financially on top of all of our concern for my dads health. My mom works hard in the hospital as a social worker trying to help everyone else.
