Gabriel's Top Surgery

Hey! So, as y’all may know, I’ve been working on raising money for this surgery since I was 17 years old. I’m now 20 and in a place where, both financially and mentally, I’m finally ready to schedule and start planning the details of my surgery. Previously, I had decided to go with a surgeon based in San Francisco, but recently I’ve decided it would be more practical to be closer to home for my surgery, so I’m exploring options in the Madison and Chicago areas. Since I haven’t had my consultation yet, I don’t have the details of exactly how much the surgery itself will cost, but for other people getting the same procedure from the surgeons in my area, it typically costs somewhere between $6,000-$8,000. I don’t know what, if anything, my insurance will cover, and I plan to update this once I find out, but for now, I’m asking for help raising $3000, which would cover at least a hefty down payment and recovery materials I’ll need to get to heal after surgery.
