ወንድም መኮንን ሹመት በደሴ ከተማና በዙሪያዋ በወንጌል ስራ የተጠመደና ለብዙዎች መዳን ምክንያት የሆነ ወንድም ሲሆን :

ይህ ወንድም ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ ዓይኑ ላይ በደረሠበት ችግር በአገር ውስጥ ዳግማዊ ምንይልክ ሆስፒታል ሕክምና ሢከታተል ቆይቶ ሊሻለው ባለመቻሉ ወደ ውጭ ሄዶ በአፋጣኝ እንዲታከም የሪፈራል ወረቀት ተሠጥቶታል ይህ ካልሆነ ግን ሁለቱም ዓይኑ ሊጠፋ እንደሚችል ስለተናገረው በአስቸኳይ ወደ ውጭ ሄዶ ለመታከም የሚያሥፈልገውን ገንዘብ ማግኘት ስላልቻለ የማንኛውንም  ወገናዊ ድጋፍ በሚያሥፈልግበት ሁኔታ ላይ ይገኛል።
ይህንንም ጉዳይ የሚሠሩ 5 በጎ ፈቃደኞችን በሰሜን አሜሪካ, ካናዳ እና በአውሮፓ በማዋቀር የጎ ፈንድ አካውንት ከፍተናል::

ይህ የወንጌል አርበኛ በአንድ ወቅት ያለ ልክ ሲሮጥ ህዝብን ሲያገለግል የነበረ ወንድም ነው ዛሬ ደግሞ እኛ እንድናገለግለው ያስፈልጋልና የልግስና እጃችሁን እንድትዘረጉ በጌታ ፍቅር እንጠይቃለን::

Brother Mekonnen Shumet is a devoted servant of God known for preaching The Gospel of Jesus Christ and winning many people to The Kingdom of God in and around the city of Dessi.
Recently though, this dear brother has been experiencing and severe pain in both of his eyes and has been receiving ongoing medical help at Dagmawi Minilik Hospital.  However, since his condition has not improved but rather it has gotten worse, he's been advised by the medical Doctors at the hospital to go abroad and receive advanced treatment as soon as possible.  Otherwise, he is in danger of losing both of his eye sight.
In order to quickly raise the amount of money needed for him to travel and get the proper medical help, five willing volunteers in North America, Canada  and Europe have coordinated and opened this Go Fund account.

Brother Mekonnen, who at one time ran tirelessly and selflessly serving people is now in need of our helping hand.  We kindly ask you to make a generous contribution into this account and be a part of saving his eye sight.
